Acupuncture in London
My clinic is in North London, a few minutes' walk from Kentish Town tube station.
Classical Acupuncture

Where Western medicine dissects the body by its symptoms, Eastern medicine treats the whole system. Diagnosis incorporates physical, spiritual, psychological, energetic and emotional aspects.
Because it is tailored individually, acupuncture can treat a range of symptoms, including chronic pain, menstrual pain, anxiety, stress, insomnia, infertility, and more.
My treatments combine the traditional Chinese medicine modalities of diagnosis, acupressure, Tei Shin, moxibustion, and cupping with Reiki and medical Qi Gong for a relaxing, balancing treatment.

I offer home visits to clients in central London, East London, and North London.
A home visit can also be scheduled for labour induction, pre- or post-natal acupuncture. Pregnancy treatments can relieve common third-trimester symptoms such as back pain, fatigue, anxiety, irritability, and muscle tension.
To schedule a home visit, including labour induction, please book a free consult.

Frequently asked questions
Is acupuncture painful?
Acupuncture is generally not painful. Most people feel minimal sensation when needles are inserted, which can range from barely noticeable to slightly, briefly sharp. This is followed by a sense of relaxation or heaviness which is called "de qi" and is a good sign that the needles are doing their job.
What should I wear?
Wear loose, comfortable clothing if possible, as this allows easy access to arms and legs where appropriate. But if this is not possible, just come as you are.
How many sessions will I need?
This depends on your condition and goals. Some people notice changes quickly, especially with acute conditions. Longer-standing issues may require a course of treatment. A good rule of thumb is to have one week of treatment for every month you've had the issue.
Is acupuncture safe?
Yes, acupuncture is safe when working with a trained, certified professional. BAcC practitioners are required to observe strict safety guidelines and use sterile, single-use needles.
